Portal Overview
The Portal is your central dashboard for managing API access, monitoring usage, and controlling your resources.
Accessing the Portal
Navigate to your platform's Portal URL and sign in with your credentials, or with Google or GitHub where your administrator has enabled them. See Signing In for the ways onto the platform, single sign-on, and self-serve signup.
How the Portal Looks
The portal's colours, logo and page backgrounds are set by your platform operator, so what you see may not match the screenshots in this documentation. A separate logo is used in dark mode where your operator has supplied one.
Only the appearance changes. The pages, their names, the controls on them and everything described here are the same whichever branding is applied — and your own theme and background motion choices still apply on top of it.

Navigation
The sidebar has two groups.

A Documentation link at the foot of the sidebar opens this documentation site in a new tab.
Usage and Billing are two separate pages. Usage answers what did we consume; Billing answers what does that cost and what is our balance.
The following topics have dedicated pages in this documentation:
- Onboarding: First-time setup flow
- Playground Advanced: Sampling parameters, request modes, and reasoning
- Playground Audio: Transcription, speech synthesis, and live microphone
- Background Jobs: API-level background job operations
- Cost Limits: Daily spending limit configuration
- Plans: Plan comparison, included tokens, and plan changes
- Team Management: Invite, role, and audit log management
Topbar Controls
Three controls sit in the header of every page.
Global Search
Click Search... (⌘K), or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K, to open search. The placeholder reads "Search pages, models..." and results are grouped under Pages and Models, so you can jump to a portal page or straight to a model's detail page.
Plans is not in the search index. Reach it from the sidebar.
Theme Toggle
Switches the portal between light and dark. The button's label names the mode you will switch to.
Background Motion
The portal's backdrop animates by default. The freeze button stops it.
- Its label is "Freeze background" while the backdrop is animating, and "Animate background" once frozen. State is conveyed by the icon's shape rather than by colour, so it stays readable regardless of theme or colour vision.
- Your choice is stored per device in local storage and applies across every tab you have open.
- With no stored choice, the portal follows your operating system's reduced-motion preference.
- The setting applies everywhere, including the sign-in and maintenance screens, so it holds before you have even logged in.
- The backdrop itself is part of your operator's branding. Where a still image or no backdrop at all has been configured, there is no motion to freeze.
The Dashboard
The Dashboard covers a fixed 30-day window. Several tiles are links into the page that explains them:
| Tile | Links to |
|---|---|
| Total requests | Usage |
| Total tokens | Usage |
| Top model | Models |
| Models available | Models |
| Active API keys | API Keys |
| Jobs running / pending / completed / failed | Jobs |
Success rate and Avg latency are figures rather than links, as are the Balance & spend, Usage over time, and Token split & cache cards.
User Roles
Your role determines available features:
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, can transfer ownership, billing, member management |
| Admin | Can manage users, invites, settings |
| Member | Basic access, can use API keys and inference, view usage |
See Organization for what each role can do in detail.

Security
- All sessions are encrypted with TLS
- Signing in on a new device creates a session you can review and revoke
- Active Sessions on your Profile lets you review devices that can refresh access to your account, and sign out of any of them
- Log Out ends only the device you are on; Sign out everywhere ends the rest
